PURPOSE:An underwater-curable resin composition which can prevent an underwater structure on the like from being corroded or stained, prepared by mixing a base resin obtained from a specified ester and a nonalicyclic epoxy resin and a specified polyamidoamine. CONSTITUTION:An epoxy resin composition comprising a base resin (a) and an alcohol ester of a polyhydric phenolcarboxylic acid having vicinal hydroxyl groups and a curing agent (b) based on a polyamideamine having at least about 1.7 primary or secondary amine groups, on the average, per molecule. The mixing ratio between said materials, i.e., said epoxy resin and said alcohol ester is, as a rule, such that the epoxy groups can remain after reaction and that usually 0.025-0.5mol of the alcohol ester is used per equivalent of the epoxy resin groups in the epoxy resin.
