PURPOSE:To absorb the dropping energy of rock by providing a rock receiving mechanism where a reverse pyramid box is filled with shock-absorbing material or gravels at a portion in cargo box formed between the right and left halves of hull of central hinge type full-open rock transporter. CONSTITUTION:A reverse pyramid container member 14 matching with the inner shape of cargo box 2 is arranged only at a portion of the cargo box 2 opened upward of a central hinge type full-open rock transporter. The container member 14 is filled with sand, gravel, crashed rock, etc. where rollers 15 are arranged at the opposite side of upper section to prevent interference with the container member 14 through engagement of the inclined face and the rollers 15 upon opening of the door of the right/left hulls. The rocks thrown through a shoot into the cargo box 2 is absorbed of its dropping energy through the gravels filled in the container member 14 resulting in protection of the cargo box section from breakdown.
