A shower or shower-bath partition by means of a single-part or multi-part curtain which preferably consists of textile material and is held displaceably with its upper edge in a guide, is to be improved in such a way that the curtain can be operated in a particularly simple manner and is reliably sealed off both at the lower edge and at the sides. This is achieved in that the curtain or each curtain part (1, 2) is surrounded and tensioned in a frame and that both the upper and the lower horizontal frame strip (4) of said frame are guided in rails (3) and are constructed to be longitudinally displaceable (Figures 4 and 6). <IMAGE>
