<p>PURPOSE:To enhance deodorizing effect by dispensing with cleaning and maintenance, by using a paper electrode comprising paper capable of holding a predetermined shape and containing a deodorant itself. CONSTITUTION:The paper electrode for an electric precipitator has a predetermined thickness and develops deodorizing effect by applying or infiltrating a liquid deodorant. The electric precipitator using this paper electrode functions so that charge is applied to fine particles by utilizing corona discharge due to a positive discharge wire and the charged fine particles are collected by the paper dust electrode group arranged in the downstream side and the greater part of the fine particles are mainly collected by a negative dust collection electrode. Therefore, if a deodorant is contained in the positive dust collection electrode relatively reduced in contamination by collected fine particles, the effect of said electrode is made durable.</p> |
