PURPOSE:To enable the accurate setting of paper and to facilitate the taking-out of printing paper, by arranging the guide plate for guiding lower supply paper, by arranging the guide plate for guiding lower supply paper and the guide plate for guiding upper supply paper toward the same side of the same paper press roller and making the guide plate for guiding the lower supply paper openable and closable. CONSTITUTION:When printing papers 70, 73 are supplied from the upper part of an apparatus main body 10, said papers 70, 73 are guided by guide plates 25, 74, 79, 84 to be guided between a platen 24 and a paper press roller 41 and wound around the platen 24 through the nip therebetween to be set to a paper feed possible state. When printing paper 69 is supplied from the lower part of the apparatus main body 10, the paper is guided by separate guide plates 31, 37, 75, 84 to be guided between the platen 24 and the press roller 41 and wound around the platen 24 through the nip therebetween to be set to a paper feed possible state. According to necessity, when the platen 24 is detached and revolved by a bent projection 34, the guide plate 31 can be opened. By this mechanism, the taking-out of the printing paper can be performed in an extremely easy manner when the jamming of the paper is generated. |
