PURPOSE:To regulate indoor circumstance or the amount of volatile gas of aromatic substance in accordance with the desire of users and increase the function of the machine by a method wherein a box body, accommodating the aromatic substance extracted out of trees, is entered into or taken out of air stream, passing through an electrostatic filter or active carbon filter, freely. CONSTITUTION:An air cleaner is equipped with a main body 1, blow-off ports 2, air circulating vanes 3, a motor 4, ventilating air partitioning wall 5 and suction ports 7. An air cleaning filter 8 is formed by stacking the active carbon fiber filter and an electric fiber layer filter. An aroma generating means 9 accommodates an aroma pack, containing the aromatic substance extracted out of Japanese cypress, pine, cedar, eucalyptus or the like impregnated in a pulse piece in the box body. A box body cover is provided with a venting port 13 and an operation control switch 19. The box body 10 can be moved up-and-down by guide ribs 14 and is provided with springs 15 for pushing up as well as a temporary fixing section 16 employed when it is received in the main body 1. Further, the box body is also provided with a releasing button 17 for the temporary fixing section and an aroma cover 18 capable of adjusting the area of an aroma generating venting port 14. |
