PURPOSE:To detect various faults by fractionating a detecting program for process faults into subprograms and using the connecting form of subprograms and the definition of the using data. CONSTITUTION:The basic subprograms are prepared for four rules of arithmetic, logical operation, binary level discrimination, bit ON/OFF, alarm output, etc. The connection form of each subprogram stored in a subprogram memory means 2 and the data of a data memory means 1 used by said subprogram are defined to a logical definition memory means 3 from a CRT display device 5 for each fault detection subject. Under such conditions, the subprogram stored in the means 2 works by a main program according to the definition of the means 3 and by means of the data of the memory 1. Thus the process fault is delivered to a display device 7 and a printer 8, respectively.
