A vertical extensible holder (10) is mounted on a carriage, which can move horizontally on rails fixed to a frame (1) above the containers (4). The holder supports a gripper arm (2) at its lower end. The carriage supports the holder which can be tilted about the horizontal axis by a toothed segment (14) driven by a pinion (13). The arm is mounted in this holder and can be tilted about a horizontal axis w.r.t. the holder, but in a plane at right angles to the plane in which the holder itself can be tilted.
