The invention relates to an apparatus for metering powdered and/or granular materials or mixtures of materials, especially for introducing alloying or treatment admixtures to metal melts. The apparatus has a container and metering units at its disposal. It is a characteristic feature of the apparatus that the container has a lower part which tapers downwards and on the floor of which at least one nozzle and, above the latter, an ejector are provided, and that the nozzle and the ejector are connected to a supporting gas pipe and a mixture transporting pipe respectively.
