The key module for a device for the automatic monitored input and output of keys is characterised by a lock cylinder (8) which matches lock cylinders of any locking device, so that the shear-line blocking in the lock cylinder (8) of the key module (M) and in the lock cylinder of the locking device can be cancelled by a specific key coded to the locking device. Such key modules are used in a device in which at least one push-in unit (1) serving as a key bank and intended for receiving a plurality of such key modules (M1, M2-10Mn) is provided for the connection of one or more data-processing systems, with visual indicators (5, 7) for indicating an organisation status in relation to keys and their users and with key modules (M) for the storage of keys. <IMAGE> |
