PURPOSE:To provide excellent resolution, exact round ink spots, and high recording density without sacrificing the absorbing speed and capacity of ink by a method in which a methyl cellulose layer containing no filler is provided on the surface of a paper having a sizing degree of less than a specific value. CONSTITUTION:When a recording paper having a sizing degree higher than 10 seconds is used, the ink absorbability of the paper is deteriorated. A methyl cellulose to be used contains 16-38% methoxy groups preferably. Also, the preferred amount of the paint to be coated on a paper is 64g/m<2>, or more preferably 0.01-2g/m<2> for clear-size press products, although the amount is varied with composition of papers, coating methods, etc. |
