摘要 PURPOSE:To achieve a higher industrial value of a CO2 sensor by arranging a detection pole material to be made up of a mixture of at least two or more of metal carbonates. CONSTITUTION:A detection electrode material uses a mixture of two or more of metal carbonates. Especially, it preferably contains a carbonate of metal equivalent to mobile ions of a solid electrolyte used in a CO2 sensor. The mixture of these carbonates, normally having no electric conductivity is, further mixed with a gold paste to maintain an adhesion strength with the solid electrolyte to be baked on the surface of the solid electrolyte. In other words, the gold paste and a gold wire 2 are baked on one side of a solid electrolyte chip 6 to make an reference electrode 7 while the gold paste and a material mixed with a mixture of two or more of carbonates 3 are baked on the other side hereof 6 to form a detection electrode 5. A CO2 sensor gas sensing element 1 thus produced is bonded on a planar heater to form a CO2 sensor.
