PURPOSE:To enhance slidability and cleanability of an electrostatic charge generating layer by incorporating a charge generating material and a fluororubber in the charge generating layer. CONSTITUTION:The charge generating material and the fluororesin, such as a copolymer elastomer of vinylidene fluoride and trifluorochloroethylene or that of vinylidene fluoride and hexafluoropropylene, preferably, in a weight ratio of 3:1-1:3, are contained in a laminated type electrophotographic sensitive body formed by laminating a charge transfer layer and the charge generating layer on a conductive substrate in this order. A hardenable resin, such as epoxy resin or urethane resin, may be further added in order to enhance solvent resistance and surface hardness, preferably, in an amt. of 5-50wt% fluororesin per the hardenable resin, thus permitting mechanical durability and cleanability to be enhanced. |
