PURPOSE:To contrive an improvement in accuracy by making the titled cylindrical material cure uniformly, by providing a cylindrical narrowing component heating and pressuring the external circumferential surface and having a smooth internal circumferential surface in the vicinity of a heating furnace. CONSTITUTION:A heating furnace 17 heating an external circumferential side of a glass wool mat 13 extending over a fixed sphere of the same and a narrowing component 18 are arranged on the back of a heating roller 16. This narrowing action acts upon a wound material of the glass wool mat 13 extending over a fixed sphere in an axial direction continuously and over the whole sphere in a circumferential direction at a time. As, moreover, the narrowing component 18 is arranged concentrically with a mandrel 1, the narrowing action acts uniformly upon a mat 13 extending over the whole depth of the same. In addition to the above, as an internal circumferential surface of the narrowing component 18 is smooth and is under a heating state, an external circumferential surface receives curing action uniformly. In consequence of the above, favorable surface hardening finish is applied to the mat 13 which is sent out through the mandrel 1 and heating furnace 17. |
