PURPOSE:To provide a heat exchanger than can be used as two kinds of heat exchanger, has a high heat exchanging efficiency, is compact and can be manufactured at a low cost by making both ends of some of fluid passages among multiple fluid passages of heat exchanging pipes open to the interior of the first tank and the rest of the fluid passages to the second tank. CONSTITUTION:Both ends of the fluid passage 3 of five heat exchanging pipes 2 in the upper part of the heat exchanger 1 are all made open to the interior of the first tank 5. Both ends of two front and rear fluid passages 3a of three fluid passages 3 of five heat exchanging pipes 2 in the lower part of the heat exchanger 1 are made open to the interior of the first tank 5, and the remaining center fluid passage 3b is extended to form an extension 2a so that both ends of the fluid passage 3b may be open to the interior of the second tank 6. First fluid inlet pipe 7 and outlet pipe 8 are respectively connected to the top of the side of the left and right first tanks 5, and second fluid inlet pipe 9 and outlet pipe 10 are respectively connected to the underside of the left and right second tank 6. |
