PURPOSE:To enhance resistances to offset and soft PVC by adding low-density polyethylene as an offset inhibitor in a toner composed essentially of a polyester resin in an amt. of 1-10wt%. CONSTITUTION:The toner composed essentially of a polyester resin contains a low-density polyethylene having a density of <=0.93, a mol.wt. of <=5,000, and an acid value of <=1 in an amt. of 1-10wt%, and when the acid value exceeds 1, the offset preventing effect becomes deficient, the roller is stained, and when it is added below the lower limit of 1%, the offset resistance is not improved, and when above the upper limit, filming occurs. Thus permitting the toner to be enhanced in offset resistance, prevented from attaching to the fixing roller, and adapted to the toner to be used for the printer requiring to soft PVC resistance. |
