PURPOSE:To perform smooth sedimentation by preventing the folding of the upper part of a bag, in performing the centrifugal separation of two or more of blood bags by receiving the same in an centrifugal bucket in an upright state, by interposing an elastic pillow in the upper part gap between both bags. CONSTITUTION:Main blood bags 2 each receiving a predetermined amount of blood, sub-bags 3 and connection tubes 5 are received in a centrifugal bucket 1 in an upright state, Because a gap part 7 is formed between bags 2, 3 in this state, an elastic pillow 6 is preliminarily interposed in said gap part 7 prior to centrifugal treatment. By this method, the folding of the upper parts of the bags is prevented and the bags receive centrifugal separation in a perfect ly errected state and, therefore, blood corpuscles are smoothly sedimented and the stagnation of blood in the upper parts of the bags is prevented and, as a result, the enhancement of working efficiency is attained.
