Door-knob arrangement

A door-knob arrangement consists of a door knob (16) and of a door-knob mounting with a bearing part (15) which is to be fastened to the door and which has a bore (34) intended for the lead-through of the door knob. At least one of the walls (12, 17) of the door-knob neck or of the bore of the bearing part (15) is sub-divided peripherally into alternately radially resilient and radially essentially inflexible circumferential portions (20, 32). The inflexible circumferential portions (32) are so far offset radially relative to the resilient circumferential portions (20) that they absorb at least a substantial part of the radial supporting forces only when the resilient supporting force is exceeded or the resilient circumferential portions (20) fail (Figure 1). <IMAGE>
