PURPOSE:To execute high-speed processing and to process uniformly a work with reduced noise and oscillation by oscillating a mirror for irradiating laser light on the work around the 1st and 2nd axes thereby scanning the laser light. CONSTITUTION:A fabric 100 is delivered onto a slat conveyor 102 from a stock roll 106 by a spreader 104. On the other hand, the laser light from a laser oscillator 128 passes through transmission bodies 132, 134 and arrives at a laser head 112 from which the laser light passes through a beam expanding means and a lens 124 and is reflected by the mirror 126 so as to be focused onto the fabric 100. The mirror 126 is oscillated around the axes PX, PY by the 1st and 2nd mirror driving parts 114, 116 by which the laser light RB is scanned on the fabric 100 according to the required pattern for cutting. The fabric 100 is thus cut while the control to compensate the change of the energy density of the laser light on the fabric 100 is executed even if the incident angle theta of the laser light RB changes. |
