A mounting arrangement intended primarily for a "sun bed" canopy (16) comprises a first part (10) for securing to a supporting stand (15), a second part (11) for securing to the canopy (16), a pair of parallel members (12,13) interconnecting the first and second parts (10,11) and each mounted for pivotal movement relative to the first and second parts (10,11). Energy storage means which may be in form of springs (17,18) counterbalances the weight of the canopy (16) to enable the canopy to be moved in an upwards or downwards direction with a very small force. <IMAGE> |
