<p>PURPOSE:To prevent cassettes and the other foreign matters from being erroneously inserted, by stopping the movement of an interlocking means by a moving means to make it impossible to open a door when a holder is moved to the second position by the moving means. CONSTITUTION:When phase gears 28 and 42 are rotated furthermore, a holder 35 is moved downward because guide holes 34 and 48 are extended down approximately vertically from halfway positions. At this time, since the extent of lift of a cam 51 is reduced gradually, a slider 61 falls gradually by the energizing force of a spring 71, and a lever 52 is turned clockwise. Consequently, upper and lower doors 65 and 69 are closed. When the holder 35 falls to a prescribed position (recording and reproducing position), this fall is detected by a means omitted in the figure to release the power supply to a motor 22. Then, a lid 12 and an ink cartridge of a cassette 11 are opened. When the cam 51 is rotated to a prescribed position, a lock part 56 locks a pin 54 (as shown in the figure).
