PURPOSE:To facilitate an assembling work and to improve the productivity by providing outward expanded taper surfaces in the minute long hole of a slider, inserting a core and an adhesive from taper surfaces to adhere the core and removing taper surfaces by polishing. CONSTITUTION:The slider 1 is notched with a minute long hole 2 having about 0.2-0.5mm width and about 3-7mm length, and outward expanded taper surfaces 5 and 5a are formed in the minute long hole 2. In case of head assembling, this taper surface 5 is used to insert a core 3, and an adhesive G is implanted to fix the core 3. Next, the upper face of the slider is polished by a thickness (a) to remove taper surfaces 5 and 5a. Thus, since taper surfaces 5 and 5a are used to facilitate remarkably a difficult work where the core 3 is inserted to the long hole 2 heretofore, the productivity is improved. |
