PURPOSE:To obtain a stacker safer from the standpoint of maintenance by providing a bottom plate switching means to a card storage unit, opening the bottom plate automatically in setting the stacker to the equipment and closing automatically the open slot when the stacker is removed for locking. CONSTITUTION:When a card sorting device is in operation, a card storage unit 7 is incorporated in a box 9 in the stacker 6 and a lock 9c of a door 8 prevents the card from being taken out. When a worker removes the stacker 6, since the stacker 6 is loaded freely to a mounting base 10, the box is carried. A bottom plate switching plate 13a projected forward at the lower part of the stacker 6 closes an open slot 7d opened so as not to disturb the movement of the carrying path of the card sorter provided at the bottom of the card storage unit 7 incorporated in the box 9. Thus, even when the stacker 6 is carried, the card is not taken out or missing.
