PURPOSE:To improve remarkably the environment resistance by coating a part of a stationary member of a magnetic core exposed externally by an untraviolet ray curing resin. CONSTITUTION:Parts in an opening 5b of a slide face 5a except a magnetic core 1, shield plates 3, 3' and spacers 4, 4' and the entire exposed parts at the inside of a case 5 at the bottom except a terminal 6 are coated by an ultraviolet ray curing resin 2. As the ultraviolet ray curing resin 2, an acrylic group resin is used, where the hardness after curing is >=5 in the pencil hardness especially. Thus, invasion of moisture content in air into the stationary member is blocked by using a coating of the ultraviolet ray curing resin 2 having a very low hygroscopicity to prevent swelling of the stationary member and deterioration in the characteristic thereby improving the environmental resistance of the magnetic head.
