PURPOSE:To obtain a laminate type electrophotographic sensitive body having high sensitivity and very low residual potential even after an endurance test by forming a layer contg. a specified polycyclic quinone pigment as a charge generating layer and a layer contg. a specified pyrazoline compound as a charge transferring layer. CONSTITUTION:A layer contg. a polycyclic quinone pigment represented by formula 1 is formed as a charge generating layer, and a layer contg. a pyrazoline compound represented by formula 2 is formed as a charge transferring layer. The pyrazoline compound represented by the formula 2 is typified by a compound represented by formula 2-1. It is preferable that the charge generating layer contains the charge generating material to the utmost limit so as to obtain sufficient absorbance. It is also preferable that the charge generating layer is a thin layer of 0.01-1mum thickness so as to efficiently implant generated charge carriers into the charge transferring layer. When the charge transferring material is incorporated into the charge generating layer, the proper amount (weight) of the pyrazoline compound is 0.01-1 time the amount of the charge generating material. |
