PURPOSE:To execute the path coverage measurement under the actual environment by providing a means to generate a load module including a conditional branch instruction, a means to load to the main memory device and a means to take out, interpret and execute the instruction. CONSTITUTION:At the time of the program execution, a load module 15 is loaded to a main memory device 16 by an operating system 21 as an executable program, and the instruction to constitute the program is successively taken out, interpreted and executed from the main memory device 16 by an instruction interpreting executing part 17. When the instruction taken out of the device 16 is a conditional branch instruction, the executing part 17 judges to branch, and then, a logic '1' is written to a B bit of an FLAG part 23, and when the part 17 judges not to branch, the logic '1' is written into a T bit. The executing part 17 executes the procedure to branch or pass downward after the updating action of the FLAG part 23. Thus, while the actual business is executed, the path coverage can be measured.
