PURPOSE:To reduce a cutting margin by providing a thin portion to be formed in thin blades in the shape of gear teeth along the circumferential section of a circular steel plate, attaching diamond microscopic particles on blades and boring a hole near to the base of each blade. CONSTITUTION:Along the circumferential section of a circular steel plate 1, a portion 2 to be formed in thin blades is formed in the shape of gear teeth notches 3 and one layered diamond microscopic particles coating 4 is formed by electric plating to form blades 5 so that step portions 7 may support the lower edges 8 of the blades. Furthermore, on the circular steel plate 1 near the base of blades 5, holes 6 are board in order to promote heat radiatium of blades 5 heated by cutting work and to have cooling effects resulted from flow of water or cutting oil. Thus it is possible to reduce the cutting margin of expeusive hard materials and to lengthen the life of a circular saw.
