PURPOSE:To cause the longitudinal linear movement and the radial rotational movement of a magnetic fluid flowing in a feed tube by providing it with a plurality of linear drive windings and concentric rotational drive windings. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of annular linear drive windings 3 are provided in a plurality of slots 7b formed in the surfaces of the legs 9a of T-shaped laminated iron core 9 in contact with a feed tube 1. A plurality of concentric rotational drive windings 6 are mounted on the legs 9a together with the annular linear drive windings 3. Energizing these windings 3 with three-phase AC by a power supply 8 to excite the T-shaped laminated iron core 9 produces a magnetic field linearly moving in the feed tube 1 in the longitudinal direction thereof. Energizing the concentric rotational windings 6 with three-phase AC by the power supply 8 generates a rotationally displacing magnetic field rotating in the direction of a phase sequence R, S, and T. |
