PURPOSE:To make it possible to prevent a conveyor from sticking of splashes by retracting a relay conveyor from the vicinity of a machining position and providing a gate working cocurrently with the relay conveyor. CONSTITUTION:A jig base 7 on which a workpiece 3 is to be placed is fitted to a workpiece table 2a in capability of being exchanged. And a conveyor 4 is installed keeping a constant distance from the workpiece table 2a and in right and left direction along a conveyor, and a relay conveyor 5 is provided at a relay position between the conveyor 4 and the workpiece table 2a. In addition, at the lower section of the relay conveyor 5, a gate 6 extending downward is formed in a body. The relay conveyor 5 is constituted so as to be positioned at a retracting level, i.e., the highest position, workpiece loading and unloading level, i.e., intermediate position, and jig exchanging level, i.e., the lowest position.
