<p>PURPOSE:To adjust the resistance value of a thick-film resistor at a proper value without changing a shape thereof by irradiating a light beam to a defective one in thick-film resistors formed according to a pattern formed by optical beams. CONSTITUTION:Thick-film resistor paste 2 is screen-printed onto the surface of a ceramic board 1. The thick-film resistor paste 2 is baked collectively in an atmospheric furnace, and a device in which resistors 3 are patterned on the ceramic board 1 through the baking is placed on a table of being moved in the X direction and the Y direction. The resistance values of each thick-film resistor 3 are measured by a resistance monitor 4 in succession and a defective resistor 3 is sampled, and the sampled defective resistor 3 is irradiated by laser beams 5 and the resistor 3 is heated, thus adjusting the resistance value. On thick-film resistor paste for a thermal head, laser beams 5 at power density of 10<6>W/cm<2> or less are projected on the adjustment of the resistance value, thus heating and changing ruthenium oxide particles as the principal ingredient and the network of glass, then regulating the resistance value.</p> |
