NEW MATERIAL:A compound of formula [R<1>, R<3>, R<5> are divalent hydrocarbon of 6-20 carbon atoms; X<1>-X<3> are polyester-urethane bond unit formula II (R<2> is residue of polyester polymer bearing hydroxyl groups on both terminals), urethane bond unit of formula III (R<4> is residue of hydroxy compound) where the total of both units is 1-10, the numbers of formula II units and of formula III units are 1 or more in X<1>+X<2>+X<3>, respectively; Q<1>-Q<3> are (meth)acrylic acid ester bearing a polymerizable unsaturated group]. USE:Binder in coatings, adhesives, covering materials, production of engineering plastic moldings or resists. PREPARATION:The reaction of a diisocyanate with a polyester prepolymer bearing hydroxyls on both terminals and a dihydroxy compound is effected, the product allowed to react with a (meth)acrylic acid ester bearing a terminal hydroxyl and with trimethylolpropane.
