摘要 PURPOSE:To form a fluorescent film free from any mixed color and any reduction of the luminance by mixing phosphor particles with pulverized aluminum oxide in a given ratio by weight relative to the mean particle diameter of the phosphor particles prior to using them. CONSTITUTION:After a given pattern area 7a of a photosensitive adhesive layer 7 on a base plate 6 is exposed to light to make the area 7a tacky, a powdery mixture 13 prepared by adding a given amount of pulverized aluminum oxide 12 to green-color-emitting phosphor particles 8G is sprinkled over the exposed area 7a to make them adhere to the exposed area 7a and then a surplus mixture is removed by blowing air or a similar method thereby forming a desired fluorescent film 9G. In the same manner as above, a blue-color-emitting fluorescent film 9B, a red-color-emitting fluorescent film 9R and a light- absorbing film 11 are formed. Pulverized aluminum oxide 12 is added to phosphor particles 8G and 8R before they are sprinkled over the exposed area 7a. due to the presence of pulverized aluminum oxide 12, the tackiness of the fluorescent film 9G, 9B and 9R is greatly reduced. Therefore, the possibility of phosphor particles and graphite particles 10 to adhere to these films during the subsequent process is greatly reduced.
