PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of a generator without causing the step out of the pulse generating timing and the unevenness of the pulse width against arising by comparing the output of a counter for counting a clock pulse with a set data and selecting sequentially the output of a comparator circuit in synchronizing with a synchronizing signal. CONSTITUTION:The 1st counter circuit 2 reset by the synchronizing signal counts a clock signal oscillating in an oscilator circuit 1 to preset the half of the counted value immediately before the circuit 2 to the 2nd counter circuit 3 whenever the circuit 2 is reset, and the clock signal is down-counted. An action mode switching circuit 4 detects that the output of the circuit 3 is zero to switch the circuit 3 to up-counting. The comparator circuits 51-5n-1 compare the output of the circuit 3 with the data set in data setting parts 5al-5an-1 and a selection output circuit 6 selects the compared data in synchronizing with the synchronizing signal.
