The present invention relates to an endless-belt conveyor. The conveyor according to the invention is of the type comprising an endless belt having a lower side and an upper side stretched between two movement-return members, characterised by: - an overthickness produced on the inner surface of the belt; - members for driving by means of adherence against the said overthickness; - two rotary movement-return members mounted idle on stationary shafts. An example of a curved-belt conveyor comprises two movement-return members, for example two rollers 2 and 3, each of which is divided into several small wheels 2a, 2b... and 3a, 3b... which are mounted idle on a shaft 4 and 5.
