发明名称 ULTRASONIC PROBE
摘要 PURPOSE:To make it possible to form a high performance probe by increasing the hardness of a substrate than an organic substance of a composite piezoelectric material. CONSTITUTION:Electrodes 209 and 210 are mounted on both surfaces of a piezoelectric body 208. Namely a substrate 211 common to a sound wave absorbing body is formed on the back and an adding layer 212 on the front, respectively. Usually, compared with a driving frequency, the thickness of the piezoelectric body 208 is made to be one half of wavelength and the thickness of the adding layer one fourth of the wavelength, respectively. It becomes necessary for constituting the probe that it is adhered to the back surface substrate 211, which has a prescribed form such as plane, recessed surface or projecting surface and is harder than the organic substance 102 of the compound piezoelectric material, with a bonding agent having a sufficient bonding force requiring almost no pressure for bonding. If the substrate 211 is softer than the organic substance 102, the substrate 211 deforms due to the stress of the substance 102 after bonding, and the directions of prismatic piezoelectric bodies 101 will not be arranged in order. Also at the time of transmitting/receiving of acoustic wave, the displacement of the substance 102 acts on the substrate 211, and a transmitting/ receiving surface starts to oscillate in a manner different from identical oscillation. Thus the high performance probe can be easily obtained.
