Device for preventing cloth faults due to loom arrests, such as thin areas and stripes, which appear on fabrics woven by means of a high speed shuttleless loom, in which at least the first starting revolution of the loom is performed without any weft insertion, the first weft only being inserted at the earliest during the second revolution, so that it is struck by the reed with the same force as the preceding wefts, said device being characterized in that it comprises, between the input shaft (22) of the cloth take up regulator (20) and the control member (26) of said regulator synchronously driven by the main shaft (24) of the loom, a linkage system (30, 34, 38) with an idle angular travel disengaging said input shaft (22) from the control member (26) during at least a fraction of a revolution following each operating direction change of the loom. |
