PURPOSE:To make possible to correlate a terminal equipment number and a selection switch number of a centralized supervisory device whichever terminal of a branch device the terminal equipment may be connected to by equipping the memory in the centralized device with a correlation table. CONSTITUTION:The centralized supervisory device 1, equipped with a selection switch 9, is connected to four automatic cash transaction machines ATMs 4 through branch device (host and secondary machines) 2 and 3. When one of the ATMs 4 is turned on and rises up, it transmits the terminal equipment number 5 the ATM is holding to the device 2. The device 2 creates information 6 to correlate the terminal number whereto the AMT 4 is connected and the device number of the device 2 with the terminal equipment number, and registers the information in the correlation table T of the device 1. when the ATM 4 is disconnected from the device 2 or 3, the information corresponding to the ATM 4 is deleted from the correlation table. In this way, by equipping the memory of the device 1 with the correlation table, the terminal equipment number of the ATM 4 and the switch number of the selection switch 9 of the device 1 can be correlated at any time regardless of the terminal position where the device 2 or 3 is connected. |
