PURPOSE:To take a copy by using plural photosensitive drums, to reduce the thickness of the titled machine, and to shorten a copy time by arranging the plural photosensitive drums in parallel in the feed direction of an original and arranging a light emitting element beside each drum. CONSTITUTION:The plural photosensitive drums 1 are arranged successively in parallel in the feed direction of the original 3. The peripheral length of the drums 1 is set a little bit longer than the length obtained by dividing the feed length of the original 3 by the number of the drums. Further, light emitting diodes 2 as light sources are provided at peripheries of the drums axially in a line and specific copying equipment is arranged. In this constitution, the original 4 and a form 4 are conveyed synchronously and the part of the original which faces each photosensitive drum 1 is copied to the form 4 by using reflected light of the light emitting element as the light source. Consequently, the diameter of each drum is decreased, so the thickness of the titled machine is reduced. Further, the diameter is small, so the rotating time of the drums is short and the copy time is therefore shortened. |
