PURPOSE:To perform deck housing work in an easy manner, by forming an upper car deck of a self-propelled car/bulk carrier into a separating plate being free of folding to broadsides at both sides, while dividing a lower deck into a broadside deck and a central deck and making them free of rotation to the side of an upper hold at these symmetrical broadsides. CONSTITUTION:Plural holds partitioned off with each bulkhead are installed in a ship, while vertical two-stages of car decks are installed in an inner hold at a more upper space than a twin deck. An upper deck 6 is formed into a separating plate 13 being joined to each other with hinges and made to be free of folding to broadside spaces 14 at both sides. A lower deck 7 is divided into a symmetrical pair of broadside decks 22 and a central side deck 23 each, and these broadside decks 22 is made free of folding to broadside spaces 24 at both sides, while the central side deck 23 turns round along a guide 35 and stands upright. With this constitution, deck housing work is simply performable.
