PURPOSE:To effectively utilize the exhaust-gas energy gas output by revolving a gear by a driving source driven by the exhaust gas supplied from an internal- combustion engine and applying said turning moment onto an output shaft through a ring-shaped gear and a flywheel. CONSTITUTION:A flywheel 4 is installed onto the output shaft 3 of an internal- combustion engine 1, and said internal-combustion engine 1 revolution-drives a screw 5 for propelling vessel. In the above, a driving source 6 such as small- sized gas turbine revolution-driven by the heat energy of the exhaust gas discharged from the internal-combustion engine 1 is installed, and a gear 8 is revolved by the output through a reduction gear 7. At this time, a ring-shaped gear 9 is fixed onto the circumference of the flywheel 4, and the above-described gear 8 is meshed with the ring-shaped gear 9. Therefore, the output of the driving source 6 driven by the exhaust gas of the internal-combustion engine 1 is applied onto the output shaft 3 through the reduction gear 7, gear 8, ring- shaped gear 9, and the flywheel 4.
