摘要 PURPOSE:To enable both controllability and transmission efficiency to be augmented by configurating a device in such a manner that a force to pull a sheet material which is held between rollers, to the reverse direction allows a feed roller to swing to the direction that it parts from a pinch roller so as to allow the sheet material to be pulled out to the reverse direction without being damaged. CONSTITUTION:When a recording chart 5 is pulled to the direction of G by an operator, a paper feed roller 2 is subjected to a torque which rotates it to the direction of H. Then, the torque is transmitted to a torsion cam 9, buy the cam 9 is not permitted to rotate because the projection bead 9b hits against the projection 12a of a carriage 12. This does not permit the roller 2 to rotate to the reverse direction of H. Accordingly, the above mentioned tension force acts as a force so that the roller 2 is displaced upward. Resultantly, the shaft end 2d of the roller 2 allows an arm 14c to elastically deform upward followed by the upward displacement of the roller 2. Accordingly, the shaft end 2a is swung to the direction of I with fulcrum at the shaft end 2c through both the backlash of a drive gear 6 and the looseness 13a of a holding member 13. Namely, as the feed roller swings to the direction that it parts from a pinch roller, the sheet material can be pulled out to the reverse direction without being damaged.
