PURPOSE:To make the working efficiency good and to obtain the sufficient effect of X-ray shield by carrying out the X-ray shield by means of an insulating sheet with an opening portion corresponding to an anode contact portion and an X-ray shield member. CONSTITUTION:An X-ray shield device is constituted by concentrically affixing X-ray shield members 24a, 24b consisting of annular lead tape to an annular insulating sheet 23, and an opening portion is provided corresponding to an anode contact portion 20. The X-ray shield device is formed in such a manner, and therefore when the opening portion 26 is affixed to correspond to the contact portion 20 of a CRT anode portion and an anode cap 22 is sticked to its, if insulating adhesives 25 is poured to an annular space 27, it is possible to effectively carry out the adhesion without uselessness in applying the adhesives 25. Further, it is possible to carry out the X-ray shield including the contact portion 20, and to complete the measure of the X-ray shield before mounting the cap 22.
