PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. having excellent heat resistance, mechanical characteristics, chemical and physical characteristics and moldability, by blending a concn. sulfuric acid-soluble polyamide with a concn. sulfuric acid- insoluble polyamide. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. polyamide (A) which is soluble in concn. sulfuric acid at 50 deg.C, has an intrinsic viscosity (eta) of 0.5dl/g or above in conc. sulfuric acid at 30 deg.C, is composed of an arom. dicarboxylic acid component unit consisting of 60-100mol% of terephthalic acid component unit (a) and 0-40mol% of an arom. dicarboxylic acid component unit (b) (e.g. isophthalic acid) other than component (a) and a 6-18C aliph. alkylenediamine component unit (b) (e.g. 1,6-diaminohexane), 2-1,000pts.wt. polyamide (B) which is insoluble in concn. sulfuric acid at 50 deg.C, has a melt viscosity of 20g/10min or below under a load of 2.16kg at 360 deg.C, is composed of components (a) and (b), and optionally additives such as stabilizer, plasticizer, parting agent, lubricant, filler, etc., are blended together.
