<p>PURPOSE:To prevent wear of a pointer driving mechanism, by arranging an oscillation circuit, a frequency dividing circuit, a driving circuit, a counter and a drive control circuit which supplies the same number of output signals as the counting value of the counter to the drive circuit synchronizing the stoppage of counting of the counter. CONSTITUTION:When a start signal is inputted 10, a signal of a frequency dividing circuit 5a is further divided 5b and fed to a motor 9a through a counter 6a and a driving circuit 8a, which is driven to run sec and min hands. After the end of measurement, a stop signal is inputted 10, the circuit 5b is reset afterwards to stop the motor 9a and the measuring time below sec is memorized 6a. Then, a reset terminal 11 interlocks a terminal 10 and upon the inputting of the stop signal, a counter 6b is reset and cleard afterwards. The signal of the circuit 5a is further divided with a frequency dividing circuit 5c, the signal from which 5c is counted 5b and flows to a circuit 8b until it is determined 7 to coincide with the memory contents of a counter 5a. A motor 9b is driven by a drive pulse to run a 1/100 sec hand, which is stopped within one cycle following the start of driving.</p> |
