PURPOSE:To enhance not only a P-removal ratio but also an N-removal ratio, by introducing org. sewage sufficiently denitrified in a denitrification tank into an anaerobic tank. CONSTITUTION:A denitrification tank 2, an anaerobic tank 1, a nitration tank 3 and a sedimentation and separation tank 4 are respectively connected in a positive flow line and a nitrated solution return line 6a is connected to the denitrification tank 2 while the sedimentation and separation tank 4 and the denitrification tank 2 are connected by a sludge return line 5a. P-component discharge reaction is performed under an anaerobic condition in the anaerobic tank 1 and, when sewage enhanced in the concn. of the P-component enters the nitration tank 3, the excessive intake reaction of the P-component advances under an aerobic condition and the P-component is taken in sludge to lower the concn. of the P-component of an aqueous phase part. NH4-N in org. sewage L is nitrated in the nitration tank 3 and introduced into the denitrification tank 2 to be diffused into the open air as N2.
