PURPOSE:To enable the detection of distortion at a high accuracy without increasing the length and diameter of a pin, by inserting a sleeve in the circumference of a pin to be made in a double axis so that only the center of inner circumference of the sleeve will be brought into contact with the circumference of the pin. CONSTITUTION:A pin 1 is supported with shaft holes 3 and 3' provided on side plates 2 and 2' arranged at an interval (b) with the diameter (d) while the pin 1 is cased with a sleeve 4 whose inner diameter at the axis-wise center is small while the inner diameter at both ends thereof large. The sleeve 4 is so arranged as to contact the circumference of the pin 1 only in the section CC' (with the distance of roughly b-2d) at the center and not in the sections AC and A'C' [with the distance of (d)] at both ends. At this point, the force W working on the entire area between the side plates 2 and 2' acts on the pin 1 concentrating on the section CC' at the center where the sleeve 4 contacts the pin 1 to create the sections AC and A'C' necessary for the detection of distortion at a high accuracy.
