PURPOSE:To input a small character by depressing always the same key by providing the titled word processor with a table for registrating a word written by ''katakana'' [the square form of ''kana'' (Japanese syllabary)] including small characters and a word obtained by replacing the small characters in the word by ''katakana'' designation words at a pair. CONSTITUTION:A word written by ''katakana'' including small characters and a word obtained by replacing all the small characters by small character designation words are arrayed as a pair in the table 11. When ''FISH'' (fish) is to be inputted through a keyboard, the word in the column A which corresponds to said word to be inputted is depressed. Consequently, a table searching routine in a ''katakana'' small character conversion part 12 searches whether a word coincident with the input word exists in the registered words in the column A of the table 11 or not. When the coincident word is detected, the conversion part 12 outputs a word obtained by replacing the input word by a corresponding character string ''FISH'' in the column B. Consequently, the operation of a shift key or the like can be omitted. |
