CURRENT SUPPLY TRANSFER APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To make it possible to well perform transfer and fixing even to recording paper having a rough surface, by holding a heat generating sheet between an electrode unit and a heat-meltable ink roll to transfer molten ink to a conductive layer and pressing the heat generating sheet and recording paper between a heating mechanism and a press member to again melt the ink on the conductive layer to transfer the same to the recording paper. CONSTITUTION:A heat generating sheet 10 is held between an electrode unit 14 and a heat-meltable ink roll 13 to contact the resistance layer 4 of the heat generating sheet 10 with the electrode unit 14 and the heat-meltable ink roll 13 is contacted with the conductive layer 3 of the heat generating sheet 10 to transfer the locally melted ink 16 to the conductive layer 3. The heat generat ing sheet 10 and recording paper 17 are pressed between a heating mechanism 18 and the press member 19 and the ink 16 on the conductive layer 3 of the heat generating sheet 10 is again melted to be transferred to the recording paper 17.
