PURPOSE:To certainly prevent color mixing and to simplify the support structure of a printing movable body, by moving a support and a cassette case to a straight line direction crossing a ribbon feed direction at right angles and holding the printing movable body in a freely slidable manner by utilizing a drive shaft. CONSTITUTION:The rotary motion of a motor 3 is transmitted to a support 8 by a gear 5 and a rack 10 to move the support 8 to a straight line direction crossing the feed direction of a ribbon 17 at right angles with a cassette case 16. The irregularity in the movement amount of the rack 10 is not magnified at the part of the ribbon 17 opposed to a printing part 20. Therefore, color mixing at the time of multicolor printing can be prevented. Further, because a slide part 23 held to a drive shaft 6 in a freely slidable manner is provided to a printing movable body 22 and the drive shaft 6 is utilized as a carrier guide, the number of parts for supporting the printing movable body 22 can be reduced. |
