PURPOSE:To increase the durability against a galling phenomenon and to increase an operation rate by using as the press metal die the material having specified hardness of the CV graphite cast iron having the matrix structure that the pearlite matrix is of the specified %. CONSTITUTION:The material made of the CV graphite cast iron having the matrix structure of more than 90% pearlite matrix and Hb180-250 hardness is used for the material of a press metal die. The durability against galling phenomenon is increased accordingly without performing the works of adding expensive special metals or plating on the surface, etc. |
